- Broadleigh Elementary School
- Buckeye Middle School
- Columbus Alternative High School
- Moler Elementary School
- West Broad Elementary School
This decision was influenced by factors such as aging school facilities and shifting student demographics.
Expansion of the Columbus Promise Program
CCS has extended the Columbus Promise Program to increase college enrollment rates. Now entering its second phase, the initiative offers graduates a fully funded pathway to both college and career success. This expansion aligns with the district’s mission of student success and ensures equitable access to higher education opportunities.
Leadership Appointments
The Board of Education has appointed Jennifer Vanover as the Interim Treasurer, effective August 1, 2023. This leadership change highlights the district’s commitment to strategic financial stewardship and effective resource management.
Future Planning and Community Engagement
CCS places a strong emphasis on community involvement in its decision-making processes. To ensure a smooth transition following the school closures, the district will actively engage with families, staff, and stakeholders.
Additionally, CCS is working on modernizing its facilities to provide students with up-to-date learning environments that meet the evolving demands of education.
